Finding the quiet in the noise…
July 29, 2026 Earlier today I did something I haven’t done in ages, I sat outside with no devices. I left my phone, my iPad, my fire tablets (reading!) and both my personal & work laptops. I did have my Apple watch on – but that was simply in case of a doctor call or…

So is this actually real? 21-Jul-26
Well it’s official and real. I have a cancerous tumor in my liver. For many, many days now I’ve been living in a very stupid bubble thinking that somehow, someway these MRI’s; tests and doctors are stoned. Was I thinking they ate bad lettuce? Maybe. Was I thinking they messed up my tests with someone…

Daily Writing Prompt
Great question! It used to be News Sources. The Atlantic; AP; Political folks that I trust. Appropriate Journalists who rely on FACTS. Since being diagnosed with Liver Cancer – it’s all about the Medical Apps now. Trying not to go down the Dr. AI Google rabbit hole, but it’s hard!

Healthcare is F’d…18-Jul-26
When someone tells you that there is a strong probability that you have cancer you spiral. It’s incredibly difficult when that happens and you must navigate all the tests, labs and doctors. It gets WORSE when health insurance f’s you repeatedly. The last few years I’ve had a LOT going on – so I’m acutely…

And so it began…13-July-26
Weirdest thing I’ve had to write about myself…but it seems that I have some form of liver cancer. Exactly what is still to be determined. To date I’ve had a CT Scan of Abdomen (for bladder issues – unrelated) which showed a lesion in my liver. Then fast forward to 2 MRI’s (6/21 & 6/29/26)…
